Cleaner

Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks at industrial, warehouse, and commercial sites. Ensure spaces are safe, sanitary, and presentable.

Responsibilities

  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors in warehouses, offices, and common areas
  • Operate industrial cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, pressure washers, burnishers)
  • Empty waste bins, compact cardboard, and manage recycling streams
  • Clean and sanitize washrooms, break rooms, and kitchens
  • Dust surfaces, clean windows, and maintain building exteriors as needed
  • Report maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors
  • Follow all health and safety protocols including WHMIS guidelines

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning or custodial experience is an asset (not required, we train)
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Flexible availability: evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Basic English communication skills
  • Must pass a background check

    Warehouses, offices and common areas, with washrooms, break rooms and kitchens kept clean and sanitary.

  • Real industrial equipment

    Floor scrubbers, pressure washers and burnishers. New cleaners do not need previous experience; we train.

  • Safety comes first

    Every shift follows health and safety protocols, including WHMIS guidelines, with hazards reported to supervisors.

  • Shifts across the week

    Roles include evening, night and weekend availability, with full-time and part-time options for cleaners.
